And if you take a branch and securely place it in a horizontal position up closer to the lights he will get more UVB.
You want him within 12 inches of the light.

yes he does If you guys ever get a rep hurt use neosporin!!!! that stuff does miracles. twice a day and it heals fast. its what healed his leg and tail....yeah i'm planning on changing the branchs a little around and get more. he is still having trouble wioth the pooping....i'm going to try and find mustard and collard greens.....i thought with the UVB and the better heating he would feel better....I guess i'm going to have to make a trip to montreal lol oh well...and im sorry merlin if I got all rude i get pretty defensive and im terribly sorry. anyways for the branchs im going back to get some new ones

No need to get defensive here. This isn't one of those sites where it always seems to be open season to slam on anybody that comes along.
We are all here for the same reason. To exchange and expand our knowledge and for the experienced to help the newcomers to the hobby!
And just a suggestion. With all that screen you are losing a lot of your heat. Try enclosing the sides with a shower curtain or peice of plastic. Keeping nim warmer will speed his recovery and may help with the pooping.

Re: Weird symptoms for my iguana
And if he does ok with you spraying him with a spray bottle instead of a soak in the tub you might try putting him in the shower and running warm water over him. Once he gets comfortable with that, then you can start to plug the drain of the tub and let it fill as he gets his shower. increase the depth of water slowly each time...

What a little sweetie!
Definitely ask your grocer about getting some of the greens mentioned, you can also ask about any stores that sell "soul food."

Re: Weird symptoms for my iguana
Start small, just put enough water to get his feet and belly wet, make sure it is lukewarm and just put him in the tub so he can get familiar with it. Next time put enough to cover his feet, once he seems okay with that fill it to his elbows.
It doesn't really need to be any deeper than that. they use their tails to swim and legs to steady themselves so maybe he's just scared because he knows he can't swim.
Slow and steady wins the race, give him time, iguanas are pretty resistant to change.

Re: Weird symptoms for my iguana
He's a cutie. Freya was afraid of water at first because she had been out in the cold and rain a lot. She still doesn't like the shower unless I'm in there too. She does like her clear plastic box we have for a bathtub for her now. You can also use frozen vegetables like green beans and asparagus in place of fresh if needed, and for the fruit part frozen instead of fresh. The greens are still the largest portion of food necessary, and the calcium supplements.
