Welcome to the site.

In order to help you we are going to need more information.
Cage dimensions?
Temps?
Humidity?
Diet?
Lighting set up?
Substrate?
Supplimentation?
How big is Spike?

All of these things could contribute to him not eating so the more detailed you are in your response the better we can help you.

www.greenigsociety.org and www.iguanacenter.com are very informative sites. I also reccomend reading "Green Iguana: The Ultimate Owner's Manual" By: James Hatfield.

Do your research and never stop opening your mind to new information. Iguanas are very difficult to keep in captivity if you do it right.

His cage is 2m high by 1m wide. Temp is always around 80f. We mist him throughout the day. Hes on a strict diet of fruit and veggies with occational grains such as rice and wholewheat bread. Since hes still so small he stays in a large tank at night. thats where his UVB light has been installed and is soon to be installed in his main cage. we leave him for 4 hours in the morning in his tank to get the UVB lighting, then he is placed in the main cage until 6pm. hes given calcium and vitamin supplement once a week. last we measured he was about 60cm (will give an exact measurement asap) he'll be a year old now in mid Dec.

I'm just throwing this out there I may be wrong I don't know to much about iguana's but, switching habitats everynight could be stressing him out heavily. Maybe once he's settled in one main tank for good he may eat properly. I know when I moved a few of my lizards they didn't eat the first day or two till they were used to the bigger tank and soroundings.

Ok first... does he have a warmer basking area? 80F is fine for an ambient temperature but a basking area of 90-95F degrees is needed. This will help with digesting his food. Also, what exactly, are you feeding him? The primary diet should be dark leafy greens with just a touch of vegetables and a bit of fruit for a treat. How often and how much of the rice and bread are you feeding. This should be in the nature of an occassional treat and not a steady part of the diet. I know when mine gets bread she isn't as hungry for the next day or two.
I also agree that it is not preferable to bounce back and forth between cages. Iguanas are creatures of habit and do not like change.
What brand of UVB bulb are you using and how old is it.
