First off, I'll remind everyone that Bud doesn't like his pic taken, he always flinches and just sits annoyed. But I noticed this today while rubbing the back of his neck and it got me a little scared that it looks like rubberjaw. I couldn't get a more clear pic because my camera works in mysterious ways. His right side is this way, it's like his normal lip, but it just looks like it's bending outward a little and I can see some red from inside his mouth. Like pictured:


The other side is nice and normal.


The only thing I can offer to help, is that his jaw has ALWAYS been a little offset of the top of his jaw. It's like... it just sits out a little bit. Like an underbite, heh. He's always had that, but this is new. I'm already thinking to take him to the vet, but is this ever normal? He's been doing some growing recently, so I'm just kinda wondering if he's just growing abnormally.

Any ideas?

It is good you are taking him to a vet. I do not think it is ever normal or common for the gums to be exposed. It could be infection, a start of an abcess or other things. It is best to let a vet to determine what it is. Exposed gums can lead to other problems. My Dragon has always had problems with her gums drying out and that led to other problems like gingivitis. I have to make sure to keep her gums clean.
