Ok I FINALLY got off my lazy butt and took some pore pics of Liv Tyler. He/She was measured while sleeping last night at approximately 42 inches snout to tail length, so you'd have thought I'd be completely sure by now of the gender. But don't be fooled by his/her size, he/she is only 10 and a half or so months old.

Up until recently, everyone, myself included, was almost absolutely certain the gender was female. Everyone (with any knowledge about iguanas) who saw my ig would automatically say "Wow! What a beautiful girl!", and he/she had not shown any male features at all. This past week, I noticed that the femoral pores were getting bigger all of a sudden, and I now look (hadn't paid attention before) and it even seems to have some brain bumps. There doesn't seem to be much of a bulge there, but the pores seem to get bigger daily. Also no jowls. He/she bobs like a male does, but that I understand is not a determining factor.

I'm leaning towards Liv, here are some pictures of Diz when he was approximately the same size, and at an estimated 12-14 months old.

I still say female. Both sexes have femoral pores but the males get much more enlarged.
