Hi, I dont have a question or anything, I just wanted to share a new method of trimming Gandhi's nails. My boyfriend has been out of the country for a while, and he usually helps me trim Gandhi's nails by holding him while I trim. Since he's been gone I have gotten tired of getting slashed up like someone in a Freddie Krugar film! After his bath, I sit him on the towel rack which is a perfect hight for me, and while he checks out the bathroom from his perch I am able to snip the nails on the hands facing me. Then I pick him up and face him the other direction on the towel rack and do the same on the other hands. It works great because he cant crawl away, since the rack is suspended away from anything else that he might be tempted to climb.
No more cut up hands, yay!

LOL I do the same thing with mine but use a dremel tool to grind the nails down

I do Dizzy's nails while he's on the towel rack too....that or I do them while he's still in the tub for his soak, it depends if i'm in a hurry ot not, but either way I do it atleast weekely and he's gotten used to it so he doesnt protest anymore.
