sexing my iggy

This is what our member has to say: I think sexing is in reference to the gender and not breeding them....

Sexing means knowing whether its male or female and has nothing to do with reproduction. It merely allows you to know whether to expect gravid situations or male breeding aggression. Both of which are important to be aware of.

Heh, sexing/gendifying is a good idea as soon as you get it, 'cause when I first got Bud, we thought he was a she. Went a good... oh, ****... first year that way. We were even calling him "Buttercup".

Then we went to the vet.

She asked me "why are you referring to it as a her?" and I go, "Well, because... he has all the characteristics of a female..." And the conversation continued with Bud staring at me like I'm an idiot. But yeah, he's been Bud for a good long while. It's just funny to me.

i haven;t taken more pics, as I was refered to a link, can't remember which, that showed very good pics. the jowls are much to large to be female. so from pele to odin it is. for being a boy he sure is calm. he has never shown breeding aggression. when is it he should show that?
he sure does demand his weekly bath, sometimes every few days.
grr and a few weeks ago we went out and forgot he was lounging on top of his cage. he came out expecting his regular treats and bath. because I wasn't there he got mad, and pooped on my bed. little jerk, he sure is demanding sometimes lol. thank god it's summer, and sunny, because after I scrubed my mattress it was soaked, and needed to dry in the sunshine, or I woulda been sleeping on the couch...

Is there a reason that you don't give him daily baths? It's very good for their skin and he'll learn to potty there too so it will be much easier for you to clean up.
