Green iguana iguana with HORNS???

Ok my friend said that there are two kinds of iguana iguana, one with horns like a rhino and the other without. I thought he must have mixed up rhino iguanas or something, but that is until I saw this:

What is that?? Its not supposed to be a freak of nature either it's supposed to be a different species or something??

At one time they thought the horns were an indication of the area they were from but they found the variation in other regions. Many rub them off. Patrick's Quasi just recently grew her's back. Dragon has one she has never rubbed off. There is a rhino iguana but it is one of the cyclura iguanas. Patrick's Bonx is a rhino iguana but young Bronx's.

....taxonomists are always trying to improve classifications that seem incorrect. For example, some time ago Iguana iguana was further divided into subspecies: Iguana iguana iguana and Iguana iguana rhinolopha. You may have seen green iguanas with little "horns" on their nose. Some researchers felt this was a sub-species of iguana, but over time this category was dropped as more research became available. If you happen to see this rhinolopha subdivision in a book or magazine, you can assume the publication is using outdated information.

Yep some of them have it and some of them don't.
My Zok had them when young but rubbed them of in her first breeding cycle. They did not come back.
