Reptile & Amphibian day.....

at the museum of Natural Science in Raleigh, NC.

Here's a few pics of the Reptile Day at the museum yesterday. A VERY long day, over 11,500 visitors, but very fulfilling in that most were there to learn about reptiles (as opposed to "show" folks who already think they know everything, LOL).

I'm in the green NCF "Iguana" shirt, Tammy is in the funky green shirt, and those are my boys "workin it" at our booth. They did a fantastic job helping to educate people and I was very proud of them. The smiling gal next to me is my friend Stacey in TN, a vet tech student whom we are trying to recruit to NC to work at our vets office in Raleigh. After knowing each other for years online, this was the first time we met face to face.

We were there as part of Triangle Iguana Rescue (TIR), the rescue I work with here in North Carolina. The second link will be of the TIR booth and our group there.

I hope to see some new members joining HC as I passed out a bunch of HC business cards.

Enjoy the show:

Hey

Looks like you guys had a very busy day. I think I recognize a few people. Teena looks like she has really calmed down a lot even from December. Glad you met Stacey. Seen her post a lot but that is the first time I seen a picture. Hopefully she will be able to join you guys in NC soon. She will be a nice addition to the cool iguana people in NC.

Glad you and everyone was able to educate people and have fun doing it.
