Hello,
All you can really do is keep it clean. Betadine baths for that toe would help keep it clean and so will the neosporin.
I think you have a pretty good chance of seeing another nail there in the future. Unless I am mistaken, it depends on how much of the nail was actually taken off. If the entire nail was removed, it may not grow back. If some of the nail remains, even below the skin, it will grow back. I am not certain if that is 100% accurate though.

It just depends on how much of the nail is gone. If it is just broken off and some of the nail material is still there underneath the skin it will grow back although it may grow back deformed possibly with exaggerated curve to it or even no curve at all. However if the entire nail was torn out it will not regenerate. You will just have to wait and see. In the mean time make sure the cage is kept meticulously clean.
However take this as a warning that your ig's claws and the carpet loops are not compatable.
If it happens once it can happen again.
Next time it may break a toe.

My iguana had two missing nails when we got him and both grew back, but one is a little crooked now (sideways)....
