Well I personally want them to live beyond the 20-25 years mark. But Dragon had had advance Metabolic Bone Disease before I got her and I didn't know enough about them until I found/bought Hatfield's book years later. Sampson died at 9 of kidney failure and the vet said that was old. He said most die at 7. Lady I had no idea what her age was when I got her--she died after an operation to remove an abcess behind her eye. Baby and Dragon are approximately 13 now but have some health problems (especially Dragon). I doubt they will reach their 20s but I will do what I can to make it possible. Huff I just got a year ago and he's about 2 1/2.

Gil is only three, but Hatfield's book was purchased AND read from the start; hopefully he has the advantage and will live well into his 20's. I'll let you know in 20 years.

I have 4 of them and I hope to see them live past 25 yrs the oldest is 7 have had him for the past 2 yrs now and I have 2 females one about 3 or 4 yrs got her when she was 6 months old and Quazi is 6 yrs I have had her for 2 yrs now and then there is Bronx the Rhino I got her in White Plains New York, April of this yr and she is a year old now. Like Steph I bought a lot of books Iguana for Dummies, Hatfield’s and a couple of other ones and read them all the Medical ones I love reading the best!!
