Ig Update

Just wondering how everyones Igs are doing.
Zair still a pain but last night he was being really good when I took him out. letting me pet him and not freaking out and trying to run around or climb on my head, i think maybe the leash upsets him.
he came right out of his cage two eat this morning he useally scratches at the bottom door until I bring him his food then he likes to retreat to his basking shelf when I open the door. but he came out today and I had to lure him back with a plate of squash.

Zair looks wonderful, keep up the good work.

All of mine are doing well....they're getting tired of all the rainy days we've been having though.

Yep! Typical iguana! He is looking very good!

Zok is,...well,...Zok!
Most of the time pretty reasonable,.... for an iguana. However I currently have several pretty good scratches from this morning's go round. I had to be gone for a couple of days and Her Greenness was displaying her displeasure with me.
However, a big peice of watermelon and we were friends again!

igs are great here. pretty well behaved for the most part, except on sunny days which are finally starting to come around Jorge is very persistant about wanting to go outside. what they lack in vocals they make up for in body language

Gil's doing great too... every morning when he gets out of the shower he runs for the slider and scratches... "Mommy... I want OUT!!"

His cage is coming along slooooooowwwlly, though. I put him in there this weekend (on a ladder) and he was lovin' it. He climed down and explored a bit and then walked right out the "ig door" instead of the gaping hole in where the "people door" will go. Ron (my husband) was totally stoked! lol

Hello

Iggie is doing much better now. Shes going through the shedding stuff now.

Wishing we could be outside more but when it gets hot inland, we get the ugly gray foggy cool days! So all of us pray for a not so hot inland so we have nice days.

Nadia ia eating like a horse and getting sassy about going outside again this year. I made a back leg harness for the brat and he bit it off within minutes! My arms look like they went through a paper shredder! He was NOT happy, let me tell ya! lol I guess he just hates it outside...he just doesn't feel secure I guess, so he gets to hang out on the screen porch again this summer. I'm thinking of building a cage that goes out the screen porch window so he can go out if he wants to get more sun. Maybe if he goes out when HE wants to, he won't freak out so bad! Don't worry we have fencing on the windows, not actual 'screening' so he can't claw his way out. He ate a june bug last year, then looked at me like I fed him something awful! LOL He's such a punk!
