Iguana Book

Hey all, I'm interested in getting a book especially about iguanas, not how to keep them as pets just general information about them. I'm eager to learn more about them, but can't seem to find a good book. I read the book The Ultimate Owner's Manual by James W. Hatfield III and found it extremely helpful. Any suggestions are welcome.
thanks

If you're looking for something scientific, you may want to become a member of IRCF. Your membership includes a subscription to the journal Iguana, which contains articles about various reptiles.

Re: Iguana Book

Iguanas for Dummies by Milissa Kaplan is another good ig book. She has a website as well Melissa Kaplan's Herp and Green Iguana Information Collection.

Re: Iguana Book

I beleive that what Ibrahim is looking for is a natural history type of volume on iguanas and their natural life in the wild.
The scientific stuff as opposed to a pet care book.

Re: Iguana Book

Good list with the exception of that last link.

ADW: Iguana iguana: Information
As it states this is a site written by, and for college students, and it seems to be primarily a collection of excerpts from various pet care books.
Even containing the (long ago debunked) statement that baby iguanas feed on insects and eggs.
