Lets be fair now, this is far from the worst case of neglect I think we've heard of here on this website, but this is how those cases of neglect start.

I could point out everything wrong with those pictures, from the tank size, to the screen lid, the hot rock, and I could go on, and on, and on.
granted, At least (it looks) like the iguana is receiving UVB.
Now in no way take this as me defending this guy, nowhere near it, im actualy oblidged to agree with venus "What an idiot"
Sleep Depraived, if you found this in your local craigslist ads, you should try giving the guy a call, let him know what he's doing wrong, hopefully he won't pass that on to the next owner, or if you really want to help, give him the number of a few local rescues. Maybe if he really does want a good home a rescue will take him in.
If he's not interested, i vote his punishment be hand feeding all of Nicoles Big male iguanas there food for a month.

I was very NICE.

I gave him some diet suggestions, explained the dangers of the hot rock and how igs bask, and offered Green Iguana: The Ultimate Owner's Manual if he decides to keep it or for the new owners.

Hopefully he'll visit here (I gave him our website) and make some good changes for his ig.

That poor guy would be missing limbs, lol. I dont hand feed half of them,, they have food aggression just like dogs, lol. We are working on that though
