I sometimes email people who post stuff like this. Once or twice I've gotten really nice people who say that they'll change the diet or whatever was wrong, and pass on the information to new owners.
But a couple have been really snotty about it. This one lady was feeding hers nothing but spinach and she had him in a 20 gallon tank. She basically told me that's the way the iguana liked it and who cared if his growth was stunted. Some people just shouldn't own pets. I'm glad this guy took your advice, though.

Yea, he was really cool, and open to suggestions. He's still at the point where he thinks someone will pay for the ig (and someone might), but I let him know that there are rescue options in the area. I told him about Northern California Herpetological Society, and told him to contact me again if he decides to surrender instead of sell.
Maybe he'll decide to keep it, join here, let me send the book, and make TONS of changes!!!
