can we all just get along ,and i thank you YZF for telling us thestory and im sure you and your friend are trying to find them carnies!

Im not picking sides on this one completely either way, But I beleive both sides have valid opinions, and I for one, Would love to change the entire industry around, but will I be able to do that, no, not on my own. So personally, Ill do what I can, if I can only save one creature, ill save one, hopefully someday ill be able to save 100's, 1000's, more? but if everyone were to just do what they could, maybe we wouldnt have this problem anyway, it all starts small. Saying that, Yyzfracer, your friend may have saved one, but I hope you do everything in your power to stop the carnies here, or else I think your friends good intentions (and thats what this is people, good intentions, try to keep that in mind when you want to criticize someone, or there actions, even if it is completly valid, and constructive critisism) may all be in vain.

I do belive the only point we were trying to make is,, that is great for the one iguana that got a decent home,, but what about the other thousands that dont.
Noone is trying to be mean, we just dont like this practice, nor do we agree with it, when someone actually takes action, there will not be any at carnivals practicing this, therefor the hundreds if not thousands will not be dying in inhumane ways.

take a look in my gallery,, that is just a few of the many I have rescued, it is quite sad, notice the deformities, the metabollic bone disease, notice how thin some of them are............... Those are just pictures of some of the lucky ones that were able to be rehabbed,, to a certain degree, What you wont see in there are the ones that were not able to be saved when I got there,, the suffering,, the pain, and that god awful look in their eyes that they get when they are dying, what you also wont see in there are the ones that have died in my arms from seizing to death, my tears that went along with an animal that I only knew for a week or a few days. Their eyes could tell you the pain and the suffering they went through. Maybe I should start putting those in there, it would definately be a reality check.
This is not meant to anger you, I am very passionate about iguanas, let us know how it goes when you find them and turn them in.
