Don't all the males have "serious testosterone issues"?

Depends on what time of the year it is, lol. This particular one was going to be euthanized because he was "mean" ,,, he is just a 3 year old unsocialized male, I have been working with him, but he is definately testy. I have a male iguana that I have had since he was a hatchling and I have no problems with him,, but he hates everyone else. I can pick him up, love on him, he eats out of my hands, lays on me. scratches at the door to his enclosure to have his big fat head rubbed,, so on. However he will not tolerate ANYONE else for any reason, especially if that person is a male. But , he just loves me, lol
Breeding season is a little different, he never whips me or tries to bite me, but he assumes the "I am dominant" position, if someone else even tries to mess with him during that time he will lunge at them to try and bite them.
But in a nutshell,, no,, not all male iguanas are nasty all the time.
