Re: Puppy pads
I was just thinking about trying those! For my large Iguana, but thought it might make it easier to clean up the mounds more poo we have now that we have improved his diet. Can't wait to see how much more poo we have when his new mega ray light gets here........ if it ever does!

Re: Puppy pads
I like the idea too, but I thought puppy pads were scented with pheromones to encourage the puppies where to do their business. I'd worry what long-term impact those pheromones might have on an iguana.

I was thinking more along the lines of stress. I guess it's been a long time since I've had a puppy... only one option back then.

Re: Puppy pads
Since Dizzy is tub trained I just use the newspaper, but it might be worthwhile to bring a few home from work for when i'm out of town and the family makes him use the cage.

Re: Puppy pads
Hello,
I too would actually investigate the puppy pads a bit to ensure their are no toxins. While the scenting some use may have no affect on puppies, it may have an affect on a reptile.
Critters mom: Its worth the wait. Each Mega ray is handled by a human. They are not machine made. When they have them all instock right then and there, they go out right then and there. Since the Mega rays popularity has increased, they often find themselves back ordered.

Re: Puppy pads
I use puppy pads as well and they are great. They are not sented and make for a really easy clean up. I have been using them for about a year now.

I was eating breakfast when I read this reply.I had to leggo my eggo to keep from choking I laughed so hard .A barking iguana, thats just to much.Ok on the serious side,I believe they are safe to use.Mine are non scented and are not made with any chemicals to aid in the way they absorb.Like baking soda or anything like that.Though you can get one's with baking soda, mine are not.If I notice any change in the way they act since using the pads.I will stop using that very second.I would never put them in harm's way.At least not to my knowledge.
