absolutely Merlin! I totally agree,,,, I can tell you every time I have been bitten it was because I got a little too complacent. I would show pics of the worst one I ever got,, but it is too high on the upper inner thigh to be appropriate. Once again, my fault for not paying attention to his body language. I can tell you it put me right back in my place, lol.
One thing that people really Just dont understand fully, or should I say respect fully,, Is the males, if you are a woman you need to be extra cautious around the males. At the same time of my serious bite I was having some girly problems and my hormones were sky high. My males in the house would just assume rip my head off then deal with me. it was a rough year until I got it all fixed, lol. I know a lot who think I am crazy for that statement, but they really should have lived in my house,,,it was awful. lol
Not to say the females are not a little cranky every now and then. I have one female who has totally taken to my hubby, and hates me, she is actaully really protective of him, and I am her main caregiver, I definately have to watch myself with her when he is home. Nothing like competing for my own husbands attention, lol
