Hot rocks should not be used for anything!!!! a ceramic heat emitter or a heat lamp is more sufficent also a uvb bulb is a must.
You can use a mistting machine if u want but a spray bottle is also good.

The only thing a hot rock is good for is as a doorstop!
You have a lot of learning to do! Iguanas are complicated creatures to take care of properly requiring very specific temperatures and lighting. Not to mention the diet. What are you feeding it?
Pick up a copy of Green Iguana the Ultimate Owner's Manual by James Hatfield.
Best book out there.

This is the results of an iggy being on a heat rock. When we got him the previous owner used heat rocks. The picture is about 1/2 way down the post. He still has a small section that still is healing.

Reqular lettuce is no good. It has too much water in it. You might was to try collard greens or something along that line!!

Okay, step number one, mix up those lettuce carrots cukes and tomatoes and make a nice salad for yourself, you are going to need the energy to go out the the store and do some shopping. None of those ingredients are going to be good for your iguana. They have little or now nutritional value (hence the reason people eat them to lose weight)

Now you should be looking to provide a diet of dark leafy greens like collards, kale, mustard, turnip greens, cilantro, parsley, endive....etc. Also you need more vegetable variety, squash, sweet potato, bell peppers etc.

READ THE CARESHEET is is VITAL to your iguana's survival. You have choose one of the most difficult and least forgiving pets out there.
Good luck! You are in for a serious learning experience!

I agree, your igs diet is in serious need of a revamp. The only thing in it of any value is the carrots and even those are a once in a while type food. the rest of it is useless. You need a basis of 70-80% leafy greens. The typical are collard mustard and turnip greens. the rest of the diet should be grated veggies with a touch of fruit for a treat. Please look at our caresheet for recommended foods.
Your igs health depends on it.
