update: we are still looking for shipping arrangements as we cannot fly pickle in the winter westjet does not ship reptiles in the winter (too cheap to heat the cargobay) we will figure it out

Has the book arrived yet? It didn't need heat in order to get shipped.
Not a bad thing that you'll have to wait for the ig... it will give you time to read the book!!!

Well dawg I think it's your choice. They are right that they need homes, but it's your herp and you are doing the research and if you would like to get your ig from the person you are then I understand that. I'm not being cocky or cruel here I am just stating that it's her desicion and you can suggest to her you have ig's that need rescue but she may not want a rescued one, she may be happy with the one she found for other reasons. Good Luck either way!

When it does get there, have a spray bottle and a heavy flannel or sweatshirt ready, the taming process can get a little rough. Definately read that book, it will be your iguana bible, it tells you everything you need to know, and you will still be surprised at times.
