Yeah, you just gotta re-associate yourself to him as "the good guy". They have small brains, so it's not that hard, but it does take some time. I think after I took my Bud to the vet, he was totally cold to me and wouldn't come out of his sleeping box, but remember this... Sometimes a good way to an iguana's heart is with food. I would hold cucumber slices up to the hole and he'd come to it and eat it... and slowly I'd lead him out a little until he was under his heat lamp/UV lamp. It just takes time.
And it helped that he was climbing over the top of the curtain rods while I was sleeping in the living room, I came back into my room and he was hanging by one foot and a couple claws, so I ran up and pulled him off of it. He responded nicely by licking my hand, heh.
