You could ask Dominick for his "Bad Iguana Cage" (I think it was Dominick that had the cage)
Just kidding,
Have you changed your daily routine or moved furniture around in the room?
Sometimes even the smallest of changes will upset/stress them out and they then act up. That happens with my girl Iggie, even if I change the position of my bed she gets mad as all he** and poops on the bed!
So Ive learned not to change anything in the room, just goes to show who has who trained!
I know its very frustrating but please dont give her away, it will get better & you'd be sad if she was gone!.
This was told to me not to long ago who Iggie was driving me insane with digging & clawing at the carpet to get out, it has since passed & Im so glad I listened to everyones advise.
Hang in there

Just kidding,
Well we all know that Dominick is the "big bad brave lizard handler"! I bet the ladies all line up to be in his bad iguana cage.

How certain about "her" gender are you? "She" has mannish qualities. When Gil was in season two summers ago, he pooped whenever and where ever he wanted to. I think it was a type of territorial marking of his domain. Perhaps that's what is going on with your iguana.

S(he) does have somewhat similiar head features to Dragon. Dragon's brain bumps aren't as proominant though. I was told Dragon was male but when he laid eggs I knew he was a she.

But those pores look larger than both my 13 year old females but smaller than my 3 year old male's. Some one else may be better at reading the pores.

http://www.anapsid.org/iguana/femoralpores.html Thanks guys n gals but she is a she. her femoral pores look nothing like a males. (few) but you are all correct on her colours. she is unusual as she does go really orange sometimes, then other times the lightest turqouise
but from those diagrams and pics shes female.
so the behaviour is still odd lol. shes a mystery. jowls of a male with colours of a male at times but then she has female pores and is much smaller than an average 8yr male. oh and yes she can feed like a pig lol.

so besides this quandry, any other ideas about her pooping etc as above. Thanks.

Perhaps she was spayed before you got her. Spaying can cause females to develop secondary male characteristics.
