Sorry for changing the subject, but when you say bath, do you recommend making a pool and letting them swim as a good idea?

Re: Does an Iggy "snort" Mean He's Aggravated?

You fill up the bath tub, but not so much that your iguana can't touch the ground if he is tired of swimming. The water should be lukewarm, to slightly warm. This also helps hydrate the the iguana and helps to get stuck shed off. They will also become trained to use the potty in the tub if you stick with it. I have 7 at the moment that are tub trained now.

Re: Iguana Baths

Nicole seems to have it covered, also make sure you don't leave the iguana unattended, although they are strong swimmers you never know what might happen.
If I have to leave the room I throw the bathmat over the edge of the tub so he can climb out if he'd like, and I never have the water higher than his elbows.
