Iguana Behavior
Do Iguanas heads turn grayish blue in certain UV lights and is this natural? How do I get my Iguana to eat leafy veggies when he is used to store bought pet food with out having to force feed him?

Re: Iguana Behavior
Some lights do bring out different colors in your iguana's skin, but that's the nature of light. His coloring will look slightly different in sunlight as opposed to fluorescent, for instance.
If he's always been fed on pellets, prepare his greens for him, and put some of the pellets on top and/or inside. (Soak them thoroughly, of course) He should eat it pretty easily. If he doesn't, just keep offering him the greens. I guarantee when he gets hungry enough, he'll eat them. They'll eat practically anything sometimes.

Re: Iguana Behavior
Chop the greens really finely and mix them in with the soaked pellets, keep adding more greens and less pellets until he is eating the desired mix.
Make sure to throw in some other healthy veggies too, my guys really like butternut squash.

Re: Iguana Behavior
I agree.
A greyish-blue head could be getting ready to shed also.
