What Merlin said about picking them up while sleeping has always worked for me, my ig runs away at lightspeed at any other time. Either a bit after your lights go out or in the morning before you turn them on are good times to try.

re: Aggressive Iggy
I recognize the first green (red stem) as swiss chard and the second as bok choy but I'm not so sure what the large leaf is.
Is that a yam too? My iguana likes yams and sweet potatoes in addition to squash.
She's a pretty girl, what do you have on the floor pf her cage?

re: Aggressive Iggy
Thanks its sweet potato she loves it.On the floor of her cage is forrest bedding bourght from a pet shop near me she loves digging around and going underneath it.Its totaly non toxic and iggy safe.It comes compressed in a block and you just soak it in water its great for holding moisture and keeping the viv humid. The only thing I need to do in her Viv is finish her fake rock wall which I am working on.

re: Aggressive Iggy
So what are the dimensions of the cage? You might not want to put a ton of work into a cage that is going to be too small in a few months.
Since she's got a more complete diet she might have a growth spurt on you.
I started my little itty bitty iguana in a cage that was 4 x 4 x 6 feet tall. (1.22m x 1.22m x 1.83m) and after 2 years it was definitely too small. This winter we upgraded him to a 6ft wide, 4ft deep, 5ft tall cage (on a 3ft base) (1.83m x 1.22m x 1.52m) and it is wonderful, it will definitely fit him the rest of his life.
Here are a few links to my cage building process:

re: Aggressive Iggy
Its Defo Not big enough I hav'nt got enough room for a massive one but I would like to have her free roam round the house like my last iggy did Ive spoke to loads of people who have got a free roamer but what I cant understand is if they live in your house and not in a viv I thourght they have to have humidity.I seen this one girl who just had a blanket on the floor and a heat lamp shining on it.Would that be ok Because I want to have a log in the corner of my living room with a heat lamp shining on it and her food and water pots under it
Her Viv is only 3 and a half ft long,3 and a half ft Tall,1 and a half ft wide.
What should I Do????????.

re: Aggressive Iggy
I find that making the cage longer was a great thing for him. He still free roams when someone is home, but he really prefers to stay in his cage or at least in the reptile room.
With a cage so narrow she's going to run into problems turning around.
Could you make a larger cage and put storage space under it so it's not just a huge space hog?
Remember if your iguana is going to free roam you need to keep the ambient temperature of your house higher to keep the iguana comfortable.
A blanket on the floor wouldn't be ideal, iguanas feel more secure up high. Maybe you could built something similar to a cat tree and suspend the lights from the ceiling.
Also think about potty training so the iguana doesn't destroy your carpet.

re: Aggressive Iggy
As for humidity, if you don't mind the extra humidity in your room, whichever room he will be in, you may be able to find a cheap humidifier you would use for a baby room, just be sure to screen the exhaust port off, it will get pretty hot.
I think there's a post on here about using one of these.

re: Aggressive Iggy
Make it a bunk bed, baby on bottom, iguana on top.
You might look into corner cages, they give the appearance of taking up less space.
