Aside from her normal cat food, my cat Rosewood will not eat anything unless she sees me eat it first. I got her Fancy Feast once, since she's so skinny, but she just sniffed at it a few times and then looked at me like, "Well? Are you going to do your job, royal food-taster?" I love my kitty, but eating Fancy Feast is going just a little too far. That being said, she'll eat the weirdest things if I eat them--including such things as cucumbers and green beans.
Funny thing about weather senses, though--I still seem to have some of that. Regular storms and things like that don't bother me so much, but really severe weather does; once, when I was still in grade school, I sensed a tornado long before it hit--even when the sky was still blue earlier that morning. Weird. I think it has to do with barometric pressure changes--add that to my hypersensitivity disorder, and there you go. I doubt I would have any clue about such things as a coming earthquake, though.
