You might try putting paper on the glass around the tank so that there is a visible barrier.

ive read about iguanas becoming REAL big Lizards
VERY big lizards! Adult males can reach 6-7ft long and weigh in at 15-20lbs!

the iguana doesnt seem to get any fatter though its stomach is a bit bloated.
Unlike us iguanas don't store fat in their stomach but rather in their tail and back legs. If the iguana's stomach seems "bloated" it is probably one of two things. The iguana is female and carrying eggs or there is an impaction and it is having difficulty eliminating waste.

What and how often are you feeding it and how often is it going to the bathroom?

To add to Steph's post, I only use the wire with the plastic coating on it for a little extra protection.

It eats and goes poopoo daily.

yep, it has orange now, and ive tried to look for the femoral pores, the ig doesnt seem to have those for now.

Ive tried handling her/him yesterday and she didnt tried to bite me except for the regular licks, though now everytime I put her/him out, he/she looks at me and crawls towards me with her/his head and entire body still touching the floor, which she/he never does before (imagine an ig crawling slowly and close to the floor to go into small and tiny spaces).

~advanced thanks for the much needed info you guys are giving me, really been of great help
