Celery

Is it ok to give your Ig finely chopped celery?

Let me rephrase that question.
(After I posted this question I found the caresheet on H.C showing
Celery on the list of veggies that are ok to give.)
So I guess my question now would be how often is ok to give ,
and does any of your Ig's even like the stuff?

they say that it takes more calories to eat a piece of celery than the celery has to begin with. I guess it would be a good hydrating veggie but probably about as nutritionally invaluable as iceberg lettuce. Since iceberg lettuce is high in oxolaic acid (or however you spell it) and causes the runs (hehe..runs) i'd be careful not to feed it too much. The strings in the celery would also catch my eye due to the choking hazard. (if any)

Celery is 95% water and very little nutrition...so yes...it's O.K. to feed occasionally, but not as a staple, and not very much.

I read somewhere, in one of many books that I have accumulated in the last few months, I think it was a M. Kp book.....that celery leaves are good but to be used a treat.
