Go ahead and feed them IF YOU WANT TO KILL YOUR IGUANA! These are VERY, VERY bad for iguanas because they will cause kidney disease.

we used to sell monkey biscuits in the pet store I worked at. but I never had a clue what they were for. nobody ever bought them, they just sat in a bin...and sat...and sat some more. eventually we threw them out. but not once in the 6 years there did I ever see the number of them inside move...unless we had boring days and threw them down the aisles to see whose went farther.

Well! Such a resounding response! Well anyway they got one meal of "That Crap" yesterday. I was a little wary of it because the bag had no label on it and thus no ingredient info.
I'll just feed the rest to my dog. She'll eat anything.

I just wish there was some kind of pre-packaged food for iguanas!
I guess I'll go and by a food processor to mix up all the veggies since I'm pressed for time.
Too bad Purina doesn't make "Iguana Chow"

Actually RepCal makes a decent iguana pellet.
But it should only be fed as a supplement not as a regular diet.
You are still going to have to do the greens and veggies.

I've got the repcal. I've been using it all along. I mix it up with whatever I feed them. So far their diet has been collard greens and yellow squash with a little repcal mixed in.
The problem has been if they dont eat soon after feeding, It dries up and they won't eat it.

Are you soaking the pellets in water before feeding. I let them set in a bowl of water for 10-15 minutes first.
