I've been wondering , if its safe to feed my iguana this kind of leaf .
this is Moringa Oleifera

im just amazed that this one has a good rate of calcium , but still unsure of the other properties involved

Is that something from a grocery store out there, or something found in the wild that you would collect? I would be very wary about things collected from the wild. Pesticides travel.

From what I can find the leaves are nutritional and used like spinach, the pods and flowers are also eaten, but would be less beneficial to an iguana...It's also used to feed cattle.

Also it says the root can be grated to create a condiment like horse radish but it does contain a paralyzing agent so they discourage the practice, even if it is rumored to make you more virile.

from grocery store and our backyard , people here doesntt use pesticide with htis tree since its abundant . what do you think

yes we consume it . we even use the mushed leaf of this to cure our wounds .

thanks , what do you think about the leaf ? could I feed the leaf to my iguana ?

I'm having a hard time finding anything relating to iguanas...i'll keep looking.

its said , moringa leaf is a valid pet food , and many pet industries are adding up moringa to thier pet food ingredients . but it doesnt state iguana, although its more on general information , not quite sure yet but ill find more articles about this thanks lacey
