So are you looking for a calcium supplement or vitamin supplement? The last one, the REP-CAL is a good calcium supplement and for a vitamin supplement go with this, also by REP-CAL

Unless Iguanas need a different supplement than other reptiles.

You do NOT want any calcium supplement that contains phosphorus! They get plenty of that in thier food. And one that does not contain D3 is better but I have used the one with D3 for years without problem, just don't over do it.
For vitamins I use the RepCal brand. But again don't over do it. Many people make the mistake of over supplementing. Too much of some vitamins is worse than too little.

I usually only supplement when my older iguanas go off food. In the past I used a generic equivalent of Centrum for vitamins/minerals. For extra calcium besides what is in the generic Centrum, I use Tums with calcium. Both must meet FDA regulations. I crushed them then lightly dust their food with it.
Currently
I use Rep-Cal Iguana food soaked as a supplement. It helps
**appetite--the color and smell seems to increase their appetite
**hydration--the pellets act as sponges, they soak up twice their volume of water
**regularity--the increase hydration help keep things moving
**mineral/vitamin supplements--no other supplements are needed other than a probiotic
Use 1-2 tablespoons for an adult iguana. Use 1-2 teaspoon for a juvenile. Soak it in water for about 5 minutes--it will be about twice the size after soaking. Sprinkle this over the greens/vegetable diet.

I bought the Jurassi-Cal calcium supplement today and sprinkled a little (how much should I use as a normal supplement?) on Ghenghis Kahn's food tonight and he ate it right up, actually he ate more tonight than normal. Does that usually happen??? I didn't think he would even know there was anything different... hmmm.
I think I am going to try the RepCal Iguana food also. I noticed that Petco has some soft Iguana food in a small can. I don't think I would ever try this but has anyone tried this? I was going to ask one of the workers about it, but from experience they are NOT as experienced as you would think they are.

Put the supplement in a salt shaker and just give it a shake, like you would do salting your own food. If you see a bunch of powder you put it on too heavily.
I would supplement once or twice a week.

A salt shaker is a great idea thanks, I just take a pinch and sprinkle it but sometimes a lot ends up in a pile or on the bottom of the bowl.
