I try for variety and use a different "recipe" each time. But I try to stay close to the following percentages:

70-80% is leafy greens: I always include collard greens, mustard greens, and turnip greens. I rotate in 2-4 of the following: hibiscus leaves, dandelion greens, escarole, watercress, endive. I sometimes add a small amount of only one of these romaine, spinach, or kale.

20-30% vegetables: I use one of the winter squashes (rotate them). I switch between green beans, snow peas, or okra. I add parsnips when I can get it but use carrots once in a while sometimes. I will choose 1 vegetables that is on the occassional list (rotating).

0-10% treat: I will add a small amount of either a fruit, Rep-Cal iguana food pellets (soaked), or flowers (dandelion or hibiscis).

And when my older iguanas go off food I will give them some soaked wheat bread dipped in some slurry of the above foods to get their appetite going. Sometimes this works sometimes it don't but I only do it for a day.

My two 13 year old females will eat at most 1/2 cup (loose). But my 3 year old male now that he is out of breeding season eats 2-2.5 cups (packed). But Huff during breeding season ate almost as little as my older females. I eat the excess greens cooked southern style.

As much as he will eat at a sitting. You and your ig will just have to figure it out.

The iguana will not over eat if given the right foods.
My adult female will go through a pie plate sized dish filled about 4 inches deep.
She can put it away!

IMO, it's not so much about having a "recipe", but using the basic percentages that Marie listed above. Think of it as the iguana food pyramid!
