WOW! People told me these guys grow fast, but I guess I had to see it for myself! He's still a little froggy, but he is a heck of a lot fatter than when we got him! Starting to see his pudgy belly hang over his legs a little bit! Hehe.. Goodness, it won't be long til we need a whole new bunch of updated pictures!
He also pooped for us! Twice so far!
He loves crickets now.. The first time we fed him he was a bit nervous about it, more seemed to bite at them to get them to go away, but after he munched down two or three he realized he liked these crickets and happily hopped around for more. Now, the second a cricket is released he is already after it!
We threw some of the leftover crickets at the geckos.. We haven't given them crickets in so long, I forgot how much they LOVE them! I thought Speckle's tail might just fall off from her wiggling it so much while she chased them! And Freckle with her horrible seemingly lack of depth perception tried her very hardest and with some time(and some help) managed to corner each cricket, actually faster than it takes her to catch a mealworm(she attacks the shadows instead of the bug itself)
Yuck, as much as it pains me thinking about the smell, Nathan is trying to convince me to start a small cricket colony. Our geckos and frog love them, and it would be a cheaper option for now until we are ready to pay for a big dubia colony I guess? Icky yucky yucky crickets! At least we won't have to buy them!
Actually, right now we have a good deal going on at the petstore.. "Bugs in my pocket", for ten dollars they give you a card that has 20 cricket pictures on it.. Each cricket means a dozen crickets for free! Considering normally a dozen crickets is like 3 dollars.. It's a better deal. I know it's not as good as ordering however many hundred you can get online, but we just don't have enough animals to make those deals worth it, the crickets just die off and end up wasted.
Anyway, Sorry I seem to be going on random tangents! Guacamole is growing and eating and pooping and being the best funky fat frog!

He's a happy frog, though he still puffs up when we walk by his tank!
