    Question My Pacman Frog Sick?

I just found this forum and have been browsing for about an hour. I own a pacman from who is about 4 inches long. Ive had him for approximately 6 months. In that time hes slowly started eating less and less. He goes about 5 days now without taking anything. He stays hidden very well to so when I do attempt to feed I need to dig him up. From everything Ive read thats pretty normal, right? But the thing that concerns me is that hes been shedding a lot. Every time i dig him up i notice another shed. I'm not sure if that is normal though. Ive seen on here that a lot of pacmans have parasites and I'm wondering if I should be worried. Since its been cold here for a while i thought that was the reason he had become less active. But now its warming up and he still has little interest in food. I just fed him 2 superworms but I had to rub it all around his mouth for him to take it. He is in a 10 gallon right now with coco bedding and a heatpad on the side. He does have a shallow water dish that i rarely see him use. Temp right now is about 80 and humidity is at 78%.

Any advice as to what I can do to make his life better?

Bump up his temps. He should have a warm side of 85-90 (my guys like it warmer). And stop digging him up. It stresses them out. He'll come out when he's hungry. my guy will eat anywhere from every other day, to once a month. The older they get, the less they tend to eat.

Also, for now, just give him enough coco-fiber as he is tall. It will help you keep an eye on him. If you are worried about parasites, a simple poop test to the vet is all that takes.

His little eyes are sticking out right now so i threw some crickets in there for him. In order to increase the heat should I use a heat lamp or get a stronger heating pad? Also when he calls does that mean hes hungry or just "lonely". He hasnt done that in a while though

Add a simple 25 watt light bulb to the top of the tank to raise up the heat.

calling means he's looking for a girlfriend.
