    Question Thermostat?

I just ordered a 5 tub rack from Animal Plastics for my leopard geckos.
It comes with built in flex watt belly heat, but I know I will need to regulate with a thermostat.
What is a good affordable, easy to use thermostat?
    Can anyone recomend one??
    Thanks!

I've been recommended the Herpstat by spyder robotics. It will let you hook up all up to like 500 watts and control all of them. The tape only uses 8watts per foot (I believe) so you can imagine how much you can run. As long as you run them all the same temperature.

Either way, you want to look for a proportional thermostat.

    Re: Thermostat?

I was looking at ones by zilla from petco, and they have 500 and 1000 watt, the 1000 watt is less expensive. Does it matter which one I get? Would they both work for my rack system?

I've heard its a cheap poorly made one. It's up to you really, I do know that it is not a proportional thermostat. It's a on/off one. Just a suggestion. Maybe Google search proportional thermostats see what comes up.
