Thanks, guys! I'm using Paintshop Pro (the poor wo/man's Photoshop, lol). I'm *just* learning, so I can't tell you much. If you do an online search on "digital scrapbooking Paintshop Pro," you can find lots of stuff. It's a very popular hobby, so there are many digiscrap sites. You can buy fancy backgrounds and "elements" (stuff that looks like decorative stickers or 3-D decorations or ribbons or....anything!) that other people have created, or you can get freebies (that's where I'm at now), or you can make your own once you learn how, or you can go with a more basic look.
So far, I'm learning to change the texture of my background, change the colors, use fonts a little, crop and resize my photos, add borders and "drop shadows" (makes your pics look a bit 3-D, as if they really are physical photos pasted onto a page). There's a LOT more for me to learn, but I'm having a good time. I was a pretty hard-core paper scrapper, but ever since I started to get into digital photos, I've wanted to switch to digital scrapping. I can still print my pages to go into books, and we can load them onto the computer that my hubby has hooked up to the TV and watch them as a slide show (the grandparents like that), or I guess I could load 'em up on a website and share them that way. So much technology, so little time to learn it all!
