I should have put something in with him to show his size. Snout to tail, he is 5". I have never know any animal to suit their name as well as these guys.

Matt, I got the sandfish and frog-eyeds from someone who was moving out of Province. She originally bought them from a breeder.
Jacky, they come from Egypt. He's pretty cool...when you can see him, very much like a Sand Boa, they hide a lot.

great picture. I was watching a deal on Animal planet about these guys not too long ago, and the host tried to catch one as it was moving through the sand on one of the dunes. Was really cool to see this hump of sand just growning longer as the sand fish was moving.
