New pics - Spot and Stripe
Here are some newer pics of Spot and Stripe. They have grown so much since I got them in January! One thing I have a question about is... they are both fat in the belly but Stripe's tail is a little bit skinner than Spots, which is weird because Stripe is the more aggressive eater and will eat like 15 mealworms at a time. Every night I put a mealworm in front of them until they stop taking them and then leave a bowl of mealworms for them to eat on until the next night so I know they are eating I just don't know why her (I am guessing) tail would be skinner!
Spot ![]() Stripe ![]() I thought this was cute (sorry for the glare). Time for a bigger moist hide! ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Aww they are so sweet and very pretty little things!
Re. the tail thickness - firstly, could one be male and one female? Males tend to be a bit skinnier and longer. Or it could just be individual difference - our female blizzard is quite a bit shorter than our other two females, but much fatter all round, one of our SHT-CT females is fatter than the other, and her tail is more chunky, but they all eat the same. Bear in mind some grow larger than others, and while some can max out at 60g others can get up to 80g + ! Thanks for sharing the pics, they are really cute.

Thanks! I actually think that Spot is male and Stripe is female by looking at their bulges, etc. I am pretty sure I saw some v pores on Spot and I know his bulges are bigger than hers. I think she runs around more than he does also so maybe that could be why too. He seems to have REALLY bad aim when trying to get crickets and even mealworms, but it's cute
