Rosy and Sand boas are very similar in size. Average length for a male is 2 feet and 3 feet for the female. 4 feet is a huge ground boa. Must be well taken care of and well fed. Nyoka is approaching 2 feet and growing. Very docile snakes that like to be handled.
Very much unlike an Amazon Tree Snake that I helped relocate at the local pet store. Stinking thing nipped me twice. Think I would have learned after the first time. Not like it is the first time I have been bit.

Nor the last. Nyoka is pretty easy to handle though and has not tried to nip me. Would rather run and hide than fight.
