My new Blood Python

Since a short time I am the proud owner of a young male Blood Python (Python brongersmai). In one or two weeks time I will get young female from the same species and 1.1 Borneo Short-tailed Python (Python breitensteini) aswell.
I will try to post some pictures of them later!

Adult CB animals have a docile temperment most of the time. Young Bloods can be a bit aggressive or at least very alert. WC can be extremely aggressive.
However I did not handle this young fellow too much because het still has to get used to his new environment. But the few times I did handle him he did not strike at me.

I said that about the red tail boa Merlin.... then hubby totally surprised me!
It's the blood red corn that I'm working on hubby for (still!!) We have a deal going and I can't have the blood red corn until I stop smoking!
So far I'm the one who's losing! Blood red corns are my absolute FAVORITE snake
Believe it or not, hubby likes Ruppert (red tail boa) and I hope Ruppert continues to make hubby happy!
I just don't think that I CAN handle a Blood on my own. I wish I knew someone close to me so I can see one for myself and see just how fat and strong they really are...So for now, I can just dream of owning one.
