Hey,are you making fun of me?

I despise spiders. I have not really figured out why yet, but I am working on my fear of spiders slowly. The owner of the local pet shop here is really great with me, he is helping me get over my fear by holding the tarantulas. I am actually to the point where I don't cry and shake like a pitiful little girl anymore.

However, that does not change the fact that I would rather take in a 20 foot reticulated python any day over a spider. Iguanas are much easier to deal with than spiders. Besides, spiders have a million eyes and no matter where you go, they can STILL SEE YOU

I figure with the help of the guy at the pet store, I should be over my fears in about twenty years or so, right about the time when I am not sure who anyone is, and I am asking people if they are my momma

oh, and another thing, have you seen the reports on how many of those critters you eat in your sleep at night, YUCK! You are not even aware of it, but you still chomp away, EWWWW. Now I will never be able to sleep tonight!

I can guarantee you that I have never eaten any giant snakes, iguanas, or monitors in my sleep, lol.

Oh, and Lacey, thanks for letting me see up close and personal what those itty bitty little spiders are that are all over the lawn and gardens, lol. They are really great when they get on the ceiling and you cannot get them, ughh, lol

Re: Itsy-Bitsy

My boyfriend is absolutely terrified of spiders.
When we were at the beach, he walked through a spider web, and he started spazzing out jumping around all over the place.
My best friend James was with us too, and James and I started pointing at Ben, my boyfriend, and saying, "Oh gosh there it is!!" and stuff.
He was totally flipping out. It was so funny.

...Then he went inside and walked through the house to the outside of the privacy fence and started squirting us with a water gun.
It freaked us all out cause we didn't know what it us, and we all had the creepy crawlies cause of the spiders.
x]

But I like spiders, pretty much. I get mad when people squish them. :\
So if there's a spider in the house, I catch it in a cup or something and let him go outside.
:]

Re: Itsy-Bitsy

I don't know what it is, but I'm scared to death of them. Maybe because when I was 7 I was bit on the butt by a brown recluse. Ouch.... But, I also used to be scared of chickens.
And Nicole, your post was soo funny I choked on my cookie!

Anyways, awesome pic (again) You should enter that in a photography contest or show!
