New Ol' Yeller Pics

On my last thread about him I asked about shell rot because I thought he might have had it, but it's starting to look better so I think it might have been shedding. He looks so happy in these pics The last two are close pictures of his shell.

I know there is a section for heating, but I figured it would be easier to post it here. Right now I have him in a 45 gallon rubermaid tub. This weekend I ordered a 160 watt self ballested murcury bulb, is this too high/low/or just right.

Re: New Ol' Yeller Pics

As you can tell he is definantly comming out of his "shell" I know kinda corny but I couldn't help myself.

I edited my post up top with a question but not for sure if anyone saw it or not so here it is.

I know there is a section for heating, but I figured it would be easier to post it here. Right now I have him in a 45 gallon rubermaid tub. This weekend I ordered a 160 watt self ballested murcury bulb, is this too high/low/or just right.

Re: New Ol' Yeller Pics

I think that is going to depend on to many variables. You are going to have to just try it and keep a close eye on it. Make sure your thermometer has a min/max read out so that when you are away/asleep you know if it is getting to warm or cool...
