my green anaconda (dial up warning)

this is me with my anaconda before he died.... i bought him in indy and ended up giving him away because my parents always supported my animals EXCEPT for my anaconda so I gave him to a better home and he died.

Re: my green anaconda (dial up warning)

when I drove down to indy to meet up with some people from redtailboa.net they said he had mouth rot or something to do with his mouth and THEY said he died... i think it was just because they didn't like me over there. basically they said I shouldn't even be allowed to own a dog... even though i've had my corn snake for almost 10 years now???? obviously I was doing something right for her to still be alive. so i'm not sure what the cause of death was. never got to find out. i got banned from their site and found this one.

Re: my green anaconda (dial up warning)

I'm sorry to hear about the death of your snake. I've never owned an anaconda, but I've heard they can be tricky to take care of.

I think as pet owners we have all, and all will, make some mistakes. The important thing is that once we know what those mistakes are, we fix them. If we find out a substrate we're keeping our animal on is dangerous to him, the responsible thing is to change it to something safer. It's only when someone knows how to care for an animal and willingly cares for them badly, or refuses to provide them with something that they need that we get really upset.

You should post photos of them too! We like photos. Sorry for your loss on the anaconda. His blues were really pretty.
