I dunno, seen it done that way and decided to follow suit, It would be ok if you didnt have to spend any lenght of time inside it, having to hold it up and fear it falling down, where as if it's down it has no where to fall to. I learned alot of what no to do, prime lesson, you dont need 1/4 inch glass, next down use the living hinge with the 1/8 glass, next next silicon it all in the first place (all around the existing trim) there is a chance it won't leak . . . but Murphy says the harder it is to remove the tank the greater the chance it will leak.

I dunno the wife has a track record for wanting to keep all the off spring. Though were off to a good start, 1 hatched, 3 eggs and a gravid(again) female.
