in these pics, two are marko. my moms iguana that had to be put down, as he had week bones and each leg had 2 breaks ... Then there is Cloud, on my computer... i call him my Monitor Lizard

Great pics!! Sad news about your mum's iguana, but your animals are lovely! You can keep posting more and more pics of them.. i love looking at pics of gorgeous animals!

lol. thank you. i hope to get pics of the rest of my critters (scorp. tarantula, hermit crab, fish, mice)... but digi cam battery is dead...
when mom put marko down was in the winter, she kept him in a shoe box in her porch for 2 months before realizing, when winters over she cant burry him in the yard b/c the ground will be frozen... and he will unthaw!!

we took him to the vet and the vet had put him down, they were going to put him on ice and then euthinize him... (spelling???)... but they did put him down and mom was upset, so was i. he was originally to be mine, but then mom got cloud from a friend, and he was more friendly (being bigger, i would rather get to know him better)... marko was VERY flippy-outty... ha ha silly words.. anyway, yah. we left the vet before he was put down, and picked him up the next day... Mom was real upset

I just asked because recent research has shown that certain forms of euthanasia for reptiles, such as freezing, is not as humane as was originally thought.
