The Neighbor's Cat Strikes Again...
Some of you may remember that several months ago the neighbor's cat left a snake on my bed. This afternoon, it left a new present. This time (according to the muddy paw prints) it came through the kitchen window, and left this in the kitchen sink...
This is a Tiger Salamander, and doesn't have a mark on it.

Beautiful sally you've got there! I just love tiger salamanders That's unreal that there's no damage done to it either. Are you going to keep it?

I believe I might. It seems healthy, and I have everything I need to set up a vivarium for it. Also in the state of Arizona, it is technically illegal to release a reptile or amphib once you remove it from the wild (I just learned this recently).

Just make sure it isn't on the endangered species list out there, in Jersey it is against the law to have them. I love their little faces though!!!!!

The only salamander that is protected in AZ is the Sonoran Tiger Salamander (Ambystoma tigrinum stebbinsi). This is a Barred Tiger Salamander (Ambystoma tigrinum mavortium).
