Mondo's a grey treefrog and Crikket's a tiger-legged monkey frog. lol, I used to let the rats outside all the time. They'd always be supervised of course, but they'd behave themselves. When I called them they'd come back. lol, in some of the pics you can see Whiskers, the black hooded, begging to be picked back up It was her first time outside.
Yeah, cleaning takes a while, but I have an assistant (my younger brother). Cleaning day's are the weekends, and wednesdays, but most of the cages are self cleaning, so its not as bad as you'd think. Just the rats, mice, turtles, Rupert, Newnewt, fish, and then a spot clean and a partial water change for the rest. lol, and sure, Rupert's a dreamy bird in appearance maybe. Meet him in person and you run the risk of being dissemboweled

Not really Bill., i have 6 pet rats, i would never use them for breeding for snake food, although joe would. I would have to get breeders for that. I also have a chinchilla.
Matt, I want those frogs!!!!! Hmm, my next acquisitions perhaps?? The 12-step programme fails again!!

The first one is my RES, Ninja. The second one is my African side-necked turtle, Smiley, who happens to have gotten her name from that very picture.
As for a friend in Rupert's future, probably not. I'm not looking to breed him, and they are not a very sociable bird. If I got another male they'd just fight. He dislikes most living things, and many non'living things as well, plus anything that's blue. Here's a link that shows what he'll look like by this coming spring:
http://www.gbwf.org/pheasants/monal.html
BlackJack, you're talking about this guy, right?
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1..._RHIZOR_28.jpg
Rhizor's a rainbow curlytail. They're not very common as pets, and its hard to find info about them sometimes. They don't get very big compared to something like a bearded dragon, only about 6 inches long, including the tail. As for the tameability, its not very high. They're a pretty high-strung lizard, and pretty much all of them are WC. I've never really tried to tame Rhizor down, but the few times that I've had to catch him, he's really hard to catch. He's very quick and when he's finally caught he'll open his mouth in defiance. Like most smaller lizards, he's a "look but don't touch" pet. And if you're talking about this guy:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...DRAGGON_20.jpg
Draggon's a regal girdled lizard. He used to be more nervous, but I saved him from drowning once and ever since then he's allowed me to handle him just fine. He's about the same length as Rhizor.
The garters are a breeding pair of western plains garter snakes.
Venus, that one's Gardulla. He's an american toad. I had him for a long time before I finally got some decent shots of him.
****, this is a long post. lol, I love to talk about my pets though

Definately the second pic! That is one happy turtle.

Aw, they're so cute! Mostly.
I love the pic of Crikket (3rd page, 3rd row, 3rd column) where it looks like he's rapping. And I love the pic of Snaker and Slyther where they're intertwined like that. Did you pose them or just get lucky?

I just got lucky with that shot. I didn't pose them, and they weren't mating or nothing. Just cuddling I just heppened to walk in when I saw that, and I couldn't pass up the opportunity to capture it on, um, not film, um, memory
