well do you know if they are fertile you can find out by shining light on the back of the eggs and looking at them if you see red veins the should be fertile if the are yellow they aren't also did you put the eggs in the incubator like they were laid if you don't them embryo will drown hope this helps! keep us posted

BABY bearded dragons
Thanks t-rex for your reply. we will try the light and see if we can see anything. yes we placed them carefully onto peat moss after they were layed without disturbing the embryo. they are getting a litle spongy and I heard they go like that too and they seem quite a bit biggeer than when they were layed so there must be something in there hopefully.
thanks again minny

Have they always been soft? or just recent? Bearded Dragon eggs can take 55-75 days to hatch, temp depending. What temp have you been incubating them at?

Thanks marsha
we held a light up to the egg and we think we see like red veins. the eggs are a little soft but they were hard at the beginning. we just put them under a heat lamp this afternoon for awhile to see if e can speed it up. first time dragon bredder.

Once they soften up and start to collaspe,,the hatching will begin...I would keep the temps at 84-85 so no damage is done. Keep us posted, we get as excited as the expecting parents do

Most breeders leave them in the incubator at least 24 hours or long enough to make sure the embilical cord is dried and fallen off,,,if it hasnt dont worry, it will eventually do so.
