Colorado Springs Zoo herps

Over all I was actually quite dissapointed at the small amount of herps to be found at the zoo , but I did get some pics so here they are hehe.

With the darned glass its really hard to get a good picture of a beautiful animal like this one

I loved this tortoise it makes me wanna get one for myselft.

these herps were the only interesting ones in the herpetarium/aviary birds exhibit but on the other side of the zoo I found their largest herps

if you ask me this burmese python is looking very well kept, hes a big dude

and lucky lucky, they had a komodo dragon, unfortunatley he wasn't up to moving for the camera... lazy monitor

I just thought this is funny, its a pic of me, Im on prednizone so I have to be careful of the sun, so all day I walked around the zoo in this hat... i got the funniest stares hehe.

Also as a last note, if any of you guys go to colorado springs for vacation, make sure you don't miss the zoo, The whole zoo is on the side of a mountain, and has the best landscaping of any zoo I have ever been too(which is saying alot because the only major zoos I haven't been are in california)

I have to agree with you about that tortoise, I am a fan of the oddly shaped shell

Grim,

Those are awesome pics you have there! I especially like that tortoise in Pic 5! But that Burmese Python looked awefully ticked off to me!
