Veiled Chameleon - Cleaning

I have heard about people cleaning their various reptiles but have not read or heard anything regarding vieled chameleons.

Should they ever be washed in any way? If so, how? This little fella is so delicate. I understand the need to keep their habitat clean and have made it a duty to clean up the waste every other day, as well as wiping down the vines and plants weekly.

Thanks,

Some people place their chams in the shower tree and all and set the shower on a fine mist and have it fall over the cham like rain.

The basic picking up the poop can be done with toilet paper daily. Monthy you should take you veiled out and clean off the plants and vines. Just place a hand in front and behind you cham and let him walk on to your hand, put him on another plant where you can keep an eye on him while you work and place him back in the cage in the same manner. If he's got a real attitude like mine you could hand feed him for a few days so he calms down to you abit.
